“He Waka Kotahi | Moving Forward Together.”
2021 ITENZ Conference
September 7 – 8, 2021 | Victory Convention Centre
March 2021 marks one year since New Zealand first went into lockdown due to COVID-19. By the time of the conference, it will be almost two years since it began disrupting our sector in a myriad of ways. Further disruption is likely in the form of a restructured VET sector, legislative changes, and the continued formation of Te Pūkenga and the Workforce Development Councils (WDCs).
Togetherness is a strength that New Zealanders have effectively deployed during the COVID-19 period and something that the PTE sector can continue to do to support each other. This conference provides an opportunity to consider what our future as a PTE sector might look like in a restructured tertiary world and how we can work with each other and with our various stakeholders to build a stronger education sector for all. It also provides an opportunity to reflect on and share the lessons learned from the ways in which we have responded to COVID-19 in our delivery, in our institutions, and across our sector.
March 2021 update- The ITENZ Board are thrilled to share that their conference is scheduled to take place on the 7 – 8 September 2021.
The programme will include a range of interesting and topical sessions to choose from, as well as high-level updates from government-aligned education groups.
Don’t miss this opportunity to network with education officials and leaders of the Private Training Establishment (PTE) sector and hear the latest innovations and ideas to support you and your students through changing times in the education sector.
