Native Tech
Native Institute of Digital Technology (Native Tech) is a Maori-led education provider creating pathways into Aotearoa’s digital technology sector. Grounded in kaupapa Maori, we help rangatahi discover talent, build mastery and access real opportunities through coding, animation, indigenous leadership, esports, game dev, climate change, AI and other emerging technologies. Native Tech’s Foundation Programmes are designed for young people who are seeking an alternative to mainstream education and are looking for a pathway into digital and creative technologies. Located in Rotorua’s CBD, our 1350sqm campus is a vibrant, whanau-centred space where rangatahi feel they belong. More than classrooms, it’s a creative hub where culture and technology meet, a place where rangatahi can see themselves reflected, find their people, and step confidently into Aotearoa’s digital future.
