Representation
ITENZ champions members’ interests to Government and other important partners, and lobbies on your behalf.
Members can have their concerns and questions raised at Peak Bodies meetings with government agencies (TEC, NZQA, MoE, MSD, ENZ, INZ, WDCs), can participate in joint submissions, and can enagage directly with officials at ITENZ-organised events. ITENZ represents you on many government working parties and advisory groups.

We run regular webinars on topics relevant to you and your staff. The annual ITENZ conference attracts CEs from key government agencies as well as education and industry partners and is a fantastic place to learn from peers and other experts. ITENZ staff are available to provide individual support.

My eQuals is the official tertiary credentials platform for Australia and New Zealand. Utilized by all eight public universities in New Zealand since 2017 to issue digitally verified credentials, ITENZ members are now able to join the My eQuals network at a discounted rate. ITENZ members can receive up to 33% on implementation savings, with consideration for timing and scope of integration. Various tier offerings are available and best discounts provided for those taking up the offer early.
Membership fees
Fees for PTEs are calculated on a calendar-year basis according to the number of EFTS recorded, with a minimum fee in 2024 of $505.50 for 12 months for a small PTE and a maximum of $5055.00 for a large PTE. Associate membership fees are $685.00.
