Francisco is the Green Party’s Tertiary spokesperson, as well as holding Public Services, Associate Climate and a number of other portfolios. He’s worked as a public servant across a number of agencies, including at the Tertiary Education Commission, and is passionate about the public good value of tertiary education. Since arriving in parliament in May 2024, he has advocated strongly for tertiary investment and student wellbeing, and has spoken with educators across the country about the ongoing impacts and implications of vocational reform.
