The government recently launched the International Education Going for Growth Plan which outlines an objective to double the international education sector’s economic contribution by 2034. In the short term, the Plan will focus Education New Zealand’s promotional efforts in markets with the highest potential for growth while continuing to maintain New Zealand’s strong presence and reputation for high-quality education in other markets. ENZ's promotional activities are captured in ENZ’s Go-To-Market Plans. The markets of focus for PTEs include: China, Viet Nam, Philippines, India and Sri Lanka. This session will outline ENZ’s plans for India, the Philippines and Sri Lanka relevant to the PTE sector and seek input from participants on the opportunities and challenges for PTEs in these markets.
